The Central Urban Métis Federation Inc. Community Homes project offers affordable housing for large families in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood — an option desperately needed in a tight rentals market.

CUMFI Community Homes is the organization’s second purpose-built housing project, following the success of the Round Prairie Elders’ Lodge, and increases the city’s housing supply by 14 units and 58 bedrooms.

Funded by the CMHC’s Rapid Housing Initiative, the project demanded our team's fastest turnaround to date. The project broke ground in mid-July 2022 with the first residents moving in just 4.5 months later, allowing families to settle into their brand new homes in time for the holidays.
